Tin Shas and Chimes
Tin Shas
Tin shas or temple chimes are a pair of metal cymbals connected with a leather cord. On the upper surface are auspicious symbols cast into the surface and underneath more symbols are engraved into the metal.
Tin shas make an interesting high pitched tone when the two metal parts are struk together. Many healing practitioners rings tin shas to indicate the end of a treatment without having to speak. Tin shas can also be used for energetic space clearing.

Wind Chimes
We stock bamboo and metal wind chimes. The metal Jacobs wind chimes are tuned to musical notes while the bamboo chimes make deep and mellow sounds.
Both work in even quite light breezes and are best placed in a position where they are not fully exposed to rain.

Aura Chimes
Aura chimes are metal bars mounted on a frame which can be struck with a beater to make a clear high pitched note.
Some are mounted on a wooden block and others in a cut out and decorated bamboo stand.
They can be used in the same way as tin shas for space clearing or signalling the end of a treatment.

Bells and Dorjes
We have a range of bells and a couple of examples are shown here.
Wind bells are similar to win chimes as the metal leaf moves in the wind and strikes the clapper against the inside of the bell.
Other bells have dorjes or strikers as well asd a clapper inside the bell. These are made in Nepal using traditional Tibetan patterns.
