Thunder Shakers
These a fair trade versions of a popular Victorian toy. it consists of a strong tube with a membrane like a drum skin at one end with the other end open. A long metal spring is attached to the membrane.
When the tube is saken up and down the sound of the spring is amplified making a thunder like sound. It can also be used like a microphone by making sounds intro the open end of the tube. The sound is changed into a louder metallic tone. Fun for children of any age!
