Dog Parade
Dog Parade Figurines Supporting Battersea Dogs and Cats Home
In September 2005 Batterrsea Dogs and Cats Home held a fund raising Dog Parade where £40,000 was taken at an auction in aid of the home. Celebrities including Vivienne Westwood, Orlando Bloom, Sir Elton John, James Galway and the staff at Battersea were asked to design the decoration of models of a dog sculpted by Derek Howarth. Some Dog Parade models are now available in smaller versions around 20cm (7.5 inches) long. £1 from each one sold goes to the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.
