Large metal Japanese style machine made bowl made in Nepal. These produce a clear and resonant note and are very easy to play. The beginner would have no problem with them and the experienced player would find they tone well with handbeaten bowls. They always play well and have a charm about them. They are around 105mm in diameter and 55mm high (4.3 x 2.3 inches) and weigh about 450g (1 lb). They are supplied as a set in a hand made cardboard box complete with a small quilted mat and playing stick and makes a very nice gift if you can part with it.
