Chimes

Tingsha made in the Tibetan tradition in Nepal. Aura chimes are produced in the Phillipines

About Tingshas

Tingshas (also called tin shas or temple chimes) are a pair of metal cymbals connected with a leather cord. On the upper surface are auspicious symbols cast into the surface and underneath more symbols are engraved into the metal.

Tingshas make an interesting high pitched tone when the two metal parts are struck together. Many healing practitioners ring them to indicate the end of a treatment without having to speak. Tingshas can also be used for energetic space clearing.
